Project Overview – FIRE JEEP AYAXX HM 500/150 Performance Testing
On 5th May 2026, PT Pro Engineering Utama Held a Diesel Engine Fire Pump Maintenance.
Upon receiving the client’s Purchase Order (PO), our team carried out repair and preventive maintenance activities on the diesel engine-driven fire pump system at PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper. The work was aimed at restoring the equipment’s operational condition, improving reliability, and maintaining the readiness of the facility’s fire protection system. The scope of work included inspecting the existing pump and diesel engine, identifying components requiring repair or maintenance, and performing the necessary corrective actions to ensure the system could operate properly in accordance with the applicable technical requirements.
Repair Activities and Preventive Maintenance in Accordance with Applicable NFPA Standards
The maintenance activities included heat exchanger repair, battery contactor inspection and repair, and comprehensive preventive maintenance of the diesel engine fire pump system. The team performed the necessary checks and servicing to address the identified issues and verify the functionality of the serviced components. The work was carried out with reference to applicable NFPA 25 requirements for the inspection, testing, and maintenance of water-based fire protection systems, together with relevant manufacturer recommendations and equipment specifications. Operational checks and performance testing were conducted following the maintenance activities to evaluate the pump’s operating condition and confirm that the repaired components functioned properly.
Conclusion – Successful Restoration of Fire Pump Performance
Following the repair and preventive maintenance activities, the diesel engine-driven fire pump demonstrated satisfactory operational performance during the final checks. The heat exchanger repair, battery contactor servicing, and preventive maintenance work were completed successfully, and the pump’s operating condition returned to its expected normal state based on the test results.
