On March 13th 2026, PT Pro Engineering Utama Held a Panel diesel repairing at MGT Minas.
Upon receiving the client’s Purchase Order (PO), our team conducted an inspection and performance test of the FIRE JEEP AYAXX HM 500/150 to evaluate its operational condition and firefighting readiness. The scope of work included inspecting the vehicle’s fire pump system, checking the pump’s operating condition, and conducting performance tests to assess water flow and discharge pressure. The activity was carried out to verify the unit’s functional performance, identify potential operational issues, and ensure that the fire jeep was ready for emergency response duties.
The inspection and testing activities were performed with reference to applicable NFPA requirements, particularly NFPA 1911 for the inspection, maintenance, testing, and retirement of in-service emergency vehicles where applicable, along with relevant fire pump testing principles. The Fire Jeep AYAXX was evaluated to verify its operational condition and readiness for use whenever required. The fire pump performance test was completed, and the pump achieved the expected performance target during testing. In addition to the pump evaluation, the team checked the Power Take-Off (PTO) engagement system, which transfers engine power to drive the fire pump, to assess its functionality during operation.
Based on the test results, the fire pump achieved the expected performance target, demonstrating satisfactory pumping performance during the test. However, an intermittent issue was identified with the Power Take-Off (PTO) system, which could engage on some attempts but fail to engage on others. The issue was associated with insufficient compressed-air supply from the compressor, which affected consistent PTO engagement. Therefore, further inspection and corrective maintenance of the compressor and compressed-air supply system are recommended to ensure reliable PTO operation. Although the fire pump performance was satisfactory during testing, the PTO issue should be resolved and its functionality verified before the unit is considered fully ready for dependable emergency firefighting operations.
