Replacement of Fire Pump Drive Engine at PT. Pupuk Indonesia Site PT. Pupuk Kujang Cikampek

In June 2024, PT. Pro Engineering Utama successfully completed an important project involving the procurement and replacement of the fire pump drive engine at PT. Pupuk Indonesia’s PT. Pupuk Kujang site in Cikampek. This project aims to ensure that the fire pump at the facility operates optimally again as a crucial fire protection measure.

The replacement was carried out because the old fire pump drive engine was no longer functioning properly. PT. Pro Engineering Utama replaced it with a new engine from Clarke Fire, known for its performance and reliability in fire protection applications. This replacement is expected to enhance the fire protection system’s capability at PT. Pupuk Kujang, enabling a quick and effective response in the event of an emergency.

In addition to the engine replacement, PT. Pro Engineering Utama provided training to PT. Pupuk Kujang personnel on NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) regulations related to fire protection. The training covered the maintenance of fire protection units and the operation procedures of the new fire pump unit. This ensures that all relevant personnel can operate and maintain the system properly, thus being prepared to handle fire situations with appropriate and effective measures.

With the completion of this project, PT. Pupuk Kujang is expected to have a more reliable fire protection system, providing better safety and protection for the company’s assets. PT.
