

On December 2nd, 2025, PT Pro Engineering Utama Held a performance test for the fire jeep and fire truck was conducted at Pertamina IT Semarang and successfully completed within one full day of assessment. The testing process included a series of operational checks such as pump capacity evaluation, hose deployment efficiency, maneuverability assessment, and equipment readiness verification. Each unit was observed under simulated emergency scenarios to determine how effectively it could respond to real fire-fighting situations. All procedures were carried out under controlled conditions with technical personnel ensuring proper data collection and adherence to standard testing protocols.
The results showed that the diesel fire pump performed efficiently, delivering stable pressure and consistent flow throughout the test. Overall, the equipment met all performance criteria, confirming that the fire protection system remains in excellent operational condition.
During the evaluation, the fire jeep demonstrated strong and reliable performance across all required categories. The pump delivered stable pressure output, the hose line system responded quickly, and the vehicle maintained smooth maneuverability in both confined and open areas. The water delivery test showed consistent flow without pressure drops, indicating that the internal components were in good working condition. Overall, the fire jeep successfully met the required operational criteria, showing readiness for field deployment without the need for major adjustment or repair.
In contrast, the fire truck delivered results that were below the expected operational standards. The pump performance exhibited fluctuations during extended operation, and the water discharge rate did not consistently achieve the minimum threshold recommended by the relevant standards. Additionally, there were delays in hose deployment and several equipment fittings showed signs of wear that affected overall response time. The assessment referred to NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) standards, specifically NFPA 1901: Standard for Automotive Fire Apparatus, which defines requirements for pump performance, equipment layout, and overall apparatus safety. Based on this benchmark, the fire truck requires further maintenance and corrective actions before it can be considered fully compliant.
